As a Québécois with Irish roots, music has been an essential part of my life for as long as I remember. I recall with great fondness my family gathered around keeping rhythm to my father‘s violin on Saturday nights. To this day, I remain fascinated by the subtle differences in wood grain, varnish color and the distinctive tones of each instrument I encounter.

This is why I take such loving care and respect in collecting my violins.

Québécois de souche irlandaise, la musique fait partie de ma vie d’aussi loin que je m’en souvienne. Enfant, chaque samedi soir, toute la famille tapait du pied au rythme du violon de mon père. Encore aujourd'hui, la texture de son bois, la teinte du vernis subtilement différent pour chaque instrument, sa sonorité, tout cela m’enchante toujours autant.
